I love watching our wedding couples grow into families.  It is definitely one of the highlights of what we do.  When you are with people during life-changing events, you can’t help but feel a connection to them.  In this case, we have been able to spend some quality time with Aaron and Andrea…from their engagement session in Chicago to their wedding in Louisville to their family session (at the family lakehouse) in Kentucky to the welcoming of sweet Jonah in Chicago.  Do you see where I’m coming from?  It is such an honor….wouldn’t trade it for anything.

As for this session, I loved being able to spend this time with them.  Being parents for the first time brings on a lot of adjusting and understanding to this new life.  It was an honor to not only document it for them, but to be able to be a friend and just share in this journey of parenthood.  Since I’m rather delayed in getting their blog post up, I’m sure they are to the point where they don’t remember life without Jonah.  Life brings in a lot of sweetness…enjoy it today.  Love you guys!  Can’t wait for our next adventure! 😉
