I got the phone call at 8am on a Monday morning.  I had been waiting for her call, but wasn't expecting it to be happening quite yet.  She went into labor late Sunday night (which was my prediction ;) and got to the hospital around 3am.  After a number of hours of hard labor, she was finally able to relax a bit (thanks to the epidural)...which was when I received the call.  She told me she was at 7cm and I couldn't believe it.  She sounded too comfortable to be in labor. ;)  I was so excited that the day had come for the two of them to meet their little man.  I had a 30min drive ahead of me, so I put myself together and arrived at the hospital around 10am...hoping that little Harry wasn't quite ready to meet the world yet.

When I got there, she was at 8cm and continued to be there for several hours.  So, we waited and we waited.  Then, came 9.5cm and again, we waited.  And, waited.  Because of Shelly have a VBAC they couldn't progress her body medically.  She had to let her body do the work.  After a day of waiting the time had come.  At 5:09 pm, Harrison James was born.  It was such a sweet day.  There was nothing else on the agenda other than welcoming a precious gift into this world.  And, even though he didn't come as soon as we had anticipated, I loved being able to share this time with my best friend and Brian...talking, laughing, resting, watching movies--the things that don't happen on a daily basis. ;)  Love you guys!  So happy he's here...

Thank you for stopping by!
Lifestyle, our passion...that is how we describe what we do.  It's the day to day, remember when, wish I could have been there type of moments.  It's real life captured forever...not only in a photograph, but in your hearts, your minds, your souls.  We truly are thankful for this role God has blessed us with.  We look forward to sharing these moments, along with our journey, in this crazy place called life.

Please use the tabs above to help navigate your way through the blog.  Current clients can find their images under the websites tab.  Over time, I will be sharing moments that inspire us to do what we do.  Feel free to grab some coffee and stay awhile...
