Every wedding we have the privilege of documenting, I am reminded of why we do what we do. It is easy to get in a rut with any occupation. However, photography brings different personalities, ideas and character into everything we document. And, I will say that having a photography business definitely keeps the mundane situation at bay.
This is especially true with Meredith & Julian’s wedding. They put their heart and soul into their day using the resources that surrounded them…old windows, Meredith’s mom grew succulents that could be included into the bouquets, they made the background for the ceremony, painted signage, I could go on and on…really. It was amazing! Every bride has a vision of what their day will be like, and I love being in the know and seeing it all fall into place.
As for Meredith and Julian, we just love them to pieces. They have been wonderful to work with from day one. The added bonus is the fact that Jeremy had Julian as a student in high school a number of years back, so the comfort level was established long before their wedding day. All of this to say, it has been an honor in every way to be a part of their day. Thank you for choosing us to be a part of it all!
Everyone in their party was a blast to be around. Meredith had 3 sisters and 3 close friends stand with her. They wanted to have fun, and that they did. And, the swing photos…yes, that was all their idea. Good laughs, for sure.
Next up, the guys. Sometimes there are no words. And, sometimes that’s enough. Basically, we ‘laughed til we cried’…a lot! 😉
First, you have the great outdoors + TOMS (if you know me, then you know I’m a fan 🙂 + all of their details + all of the sweet moments between Meredith, Julian and their families. Wow. Just wow. And, check out Hank…their little addition. He is something else. 😉
I’m not gonna lie…had a horrible time narrowing these down. Sorry for the overload. And, Meredith and Julian…you guys looked amazing.

I failed to mention how hot it was. You could probably tell by the ceremony photo above. 😉 It wasn’t the hottest day of the year (thankfully), but after this summer, it was still hot-no surprise there. They made the most of it…including the wedding party pile photo that Meredith requested.
The wedding party choreographed a dance for Meredith and Julian to enjoy. And, my oh, my! It was hard to keep shooting with all of the laughter taking place. They had no idea, and as you can see they loved it!
Meredith’s mom even got to be a part of it. Quite the surprise, in case you couldn’t tell. 😉
