It is crazy to think we are nearing the end of our 2012 season.  What a wonderful year we have had.  I can hardly believe we shot our first wedding in 1999 while I was finishing college, Jeremy had just graduated, and we were newly married.  We’ve been surrounded by wonderful people from the very beginning, and for that we are thankful.

As for Emma and Larry, wow…they are amazing!!!  We felt welcome from the very beginning.  I love feeling as though we all would’ve been friends had we connected earlier in life.  We feel this way with so many of our couples, and it is one of the many highlights of doing what we do.

Emma and Larry had an incredible day!  We’ve done enough work in Chicago that we feel as though we are getting to know the city fairly well.  However, there are always moments of anxiousness as we prepare for a wedding that requires travel from point A to point B, C and D in a city that is known for their traffic delays.  Thankfully, their day flowed just as it needed to and the end result will bring back many cherished moments for years to come.
