Gosh, we have beautiful couples...all of them...seriously.
Many of our clients find us via word of mouth--friends and family of our previous clients. Well, Sarah and Ryan found us by searching the good 'ole web. They didn't have any knowledge of who we were, what to expect, etc. However, the more we got to know one another, the more we realized how many connections we had. I know that brings an added level of comfort when you've invested into a wedding photographer. On top of that, I love the relationship that has been building over the past year with these two...they are awesome, and I am so glad that we were the chosen ones to capture their day!
As for their wedding day, it was beautiful. Sarah and Ryan wanted to cover a lot of ground on their wedding day, so they built in ample time to make that happen. It was SO hard to narrow down the photos for this blog post. On top of all of their photos, they had many events planned throughout the day...you'll see.
Sweet moments between Sarah and her parents before the ceremony...
Sarah and Ryan...you guys were stunning!
And, a toast to the bride and groom!!
Someone forgot to tell him this wasn't a jumping shot. ;)

I love, love this series! So glad we made this stop!
Best AIR BAND ever!!!
These last few photos were captured at the end of their day. Some time set aside for just the two of them.

What a fun year I've had with this family! Watching little Jack grow has been such a treat. Their session was full of sweet smiles, lots of snuggles, and adorable expressions. I'm looking forward to capturing them again in the future. Many hugs to the 4 of you!!
We finished their session with a special treat for Jack to celebrate his one year birthday. I guess you could say he loved it...as did his big sister! ;)

Last fall we had the privilege of documenting Amy and PJ's wedding in Indianapolis. It was such a wonderful day!! Following the wedding, Amy and her sister, Lia, wanted to give their mom a family session for Mother's Day. We had such a beautiful evening to capture them (this was, obviously, before it got extremely hot!). As always, it was wonderful spending the evening with this family. I could, seriously, listen to them laugh and carry on all day long. :) It is evident that they love and value one another to the core.
It was an honor seeing all of you again! Many hugs your way!

It's hard to believe that the little guy you see above is now a moving, busy, adorable one year old!! Every year moves faster and faster...I may spin out of control at some point if time doesn't slow down.
It has been such a treat photographing Blake's first year. I have known Trish for what seems like forever now (we taught together for 4 years :) and they will always hold a special place in our hearts. I love seeing them with Blake and know that they experience pieces of heaven each and every day!
As for their session, this couldn't have been more them...a little bit of Harley-Davidson, some Mickey Mouse, and we topped things off with a yummy birthday cupcake. So glad we got to capture all of your loves and spend some time with the 3 of you! Much love to you guys!

Goodness, it's been a hot summer. I feel like a broken record these days. ;) However, this ongoing summer heat has been crazy. All of our clients have been awesome in spite of their discomfort. I will have to say, though, that Stephanie and Michael's day was most definitely our hottest wedding ever. If I recall, the heat index was 114 degrees. Painful. Thankfully, we had a few locations that kept them indoors for a bit, and our brief outdoor time was shaded, for the most part. As I was preparing their photos for the blog, I couldn't help but think, wow, was it really that hot? They look amazing considering the heat situation we had that day. So glad that I wasn't in front of the camera...I was sweating like I had just finished a 20 mile run. :)
As for Stephanie and Michael...such an awesome couple. I love them to pieces and have enjoyed every minute with them...including our post engagement session dinner. :) There is no doubt that Michael adores his girl, and Stephanie loves her man. So happy they found each other! Thanks for choosing us to capture it all! xoxo!!
The pool deck of the Sheraton offered a great view of the city. If it had not been for the unbelievable (heat elevated) reflection on the pavement, you would've seen many more photos from here. Loved this little gem.

Such a great moment. When it was time to read the vows they had written, Michael pulled out his phone. Took us all by surprise. I guess this is the day we live in. ;)

We found a decent amount of shade to finish up their photos following the ceremony. They seriously were troopers. I loved all of these photos...so glad they have them.
Oasis Events did a wonderful job preparing the Murat Shrine Temple for their wedding. We always enjoy working with them!

These are GORGEOUS photos of their big day and I agree -- you can't even tell how warm it was! Whoo and do I hear you?!! I've looked like a HOT MESS while shooting these last two weddings of mine (I'm instantly deleting any photos of myself as captured by my second photographer - haha!)
