I had such a wonderful evening with Abby and Ben. They are such a sweet couple. From the moment we met, I knew they were going to be amazing to work with. You can sense how much they care about those around them, and each other, even through these images. We are so thankful that they have chosen us to photograph their wedding next May. It is going to be a beautiful day celebrating a beautiful couple. Can't wait to be a part of it all!!

We have had a wonderful year getting to know Katie and Liam. In fact, it didn't take us long to establish a friendship with these two! From their consult to the prepping of their (very creative) save the dates to their engagement session...we've had a blast. They are such an easy-going, fun couple who happen to have quite the wedding taking place in just a few short weeks. We are honored to be the ones documenting it all.

I enjoyed a wonderful evening with these two. I am loving the weather 2012 has been bringing and have a smidgen of hope that we will continue to see this weather pattern as we continue in the summer months...cooler temperatures, beautiful sunsets, all of it. ;) Stephanie and Michael will be getting married this summer, and we couldn't be more excited for them. It's going to be a beautiful day and we are honored to be a part of it all. Looking forward to sharing more of these two soon!

I'm not sure where to begin this post, to be completely honest. I knew Trish during my college years at IWU...she played basketball, I ran track. We had mutual friends and knew of one another, but that was about it. Fast forward a few ;) years, and our paths crossed once again. This story is better in person, believe me, so I'll leave it at that. ;) Fast forward another couple of years and I receive an email from Trish regarding their photos. I was beyond honored to photograph the two of them. They are perfect for one another in every way. I truly wish we were able to be a part of their wedding day--such a beautiful couple--inside and out.
As for their engagement session, after months of rescheduling we finally made it happen. And, I won't lie, I think we chose the best day thus far of 2012. I have never seen such vibrant colors among the trees and grass-I even toned down the colors in a lot of these photos because they were so intense. We truly had the most perfectly warm, spring day. We shared in some good laughs and had the chance to get to know one another better. Looking forward to when our paths cross again. Hugs to you both!

The blog hiatus will be ending now as we are in full swing with our season. I've been trying to work on some back-end organizational/marketing work (still in process-story of my life ;) which had kept me away from sharing some pretty amazing people with all of you. But, here we are...first, with Meredith and Julian.
I was so excited to hear from Julian when he contacted us for their wedding. Jeremy actually had Julian in class a number of years ago (aging us again ;), so it was quite the honor when they wanted us to document their day.
As for their session...goodness, we had fun. The evening was absolutely perfect...unseasonably warm temps and the blooming of spring was in full swing. We took a lot of photos (we even witnessed a rather impressive round of swing dancing ;), laughed like crazy, and absolutely loved capturing the two of them.
We can't wait to be a part of their day in just a few short months. It's going to be amazing in every way! So glad you chose us to be a part of it all. Hugs to you both!
