We have been blessed time and time again. I can't say that enough, seriously. First up, is Morgan and Nick. They are such an adorable couple and as sweet as can be. We had such a wonderful time being a part of their day.

Morgan and Nick's day started out rather chilly, but by the time photos rolled around the temperatures were more than comfortable. Their ceremony and reception took place on the beautiful grounds of the Hawthorns Country Club. They took excellent care of all of us the entire day. Morgan and Nick truly had an amazing day...thanks for choosing us to capture it all for you. Hugs to you both!

Taking photos of other photographers can be a bit intimidating, especially when the (normally) extremely, happy baby was not wanting anything to do with us capturing his 9 month milestone. ;) We traveled around Noblesville thinking we might be able to distract little Jett from all of the trucks and cars driving by...no such luck. He is 100% boy and was not interested in us, at all!! Thankfully, we got some sweet photos in the meantime. He may not have been his normal, cheesy self for some of these, but I love each and every expression.

We finished up their session in a more relaxed environment...home. The entertainment of trucks, cars and downtown Noblesville was over, so we had his complete attention. :)

I realize the next 3 photos are rather similar. However, I have never seen a little guy crack up as much as he did. Granted, his father is the king of random noises and expressions, so it was hard not to laugh. I'm guessing all of those big smiles and laughter were bottled up from earlier in the session...glad he was willing to share. ;)

Oh, goodness...I had to share this series below. These were all taken one after another. I am amazed at how they can go from one expression to the next without even taking a moment to think. Oh, the amount of laughing that took place...I was completely entertained. A big thanks to Wade for helping me figure out how to do this animation thing. ;)

It's hard to believe that the celebration of Jett's first year is just around the corner. You may recall his welcoming into the world HERE. It was such a precious time that I was honored to capture. Over the past year, our families have gotten to know each other, so very well. We love having them close by, and value their friendship even more. Glad this crazy world of photography brought our families together. We love you guys to pieces!

I knew Trish during my college years at IWU...she played basketball, I ran track. We had mutual friends and knew of one another, but that was about it. Fast forward a few ;) years, and our paths crossed once again. This story is better in person, believe me, so I'll leave it at that. ;) Fast forward another couple of years and I receive an email from Trish regarding their photos. I was beyond honored to photograph the two of them. They are perfect for one another in every way. I truly wish we were able to be a part of their wedding day--such a beautiful couple--inside and out.

As for their engagement session, after months of rescheduling we finally made it happen. And, I won't lie, I think we chose the best day thus far of 2012. I have never seen such vibrant colors among the trees and grass-I even toned down the colors in a lot of these photos because they were so intense. We truly had the most perfectly warm, spring day. We shared in some good laughs and had the chance to get to know one another better. Looking forward to when our paths cross again. Hugs to you both!

We had the pleasure of shooting Jed and Emily's wedding a number of years back. It was such a treat hearing from them in regards to documenting their growing family. I've been trying to work on some back-end organizational/marketing work (still in process-story of my life ;) which had kept me away from sharing some pretty amazing people with all of you. But, here we are...first, with Meredith and Julian.

I was so excited to hear from Julian when he contacted us for their wedding. Jeremy actually had Julian in class a number of years ago (aging us again ;), so it was quite the honor when they wanted us to document their day.

As for their session...goodness, we had fun. The evening was absolutely perfect...unseasonably warm temps and the blooming of spring was in full swing. We took a lot of photos (we even witnessed a rather impressive round of swing dancing ;), laughed like crazy, and absolutely loved capturing the two of them.

We can't wait to be a part of their day in just a few short months. It's going to be amazing in every way! So glad you chose us to be a part of it all. Hugs to you both!

I met this sweet family back in 2009 when little Grant was born. It's hard to believe that (almost) 3 years have passed since this time (photo above). I have enjoyed getting to know them over the past couple of years and love watching their little family grow.

When Cathy told me they were expecting and wanted to do a newborn session again, she mentioned that if they had a girl they were going to name her Claire. Of course, I thought that was the perfect name and was so happy for them when they welcomed her into this world! She was quite the treat...absolutely precious with some good awake time and sleepy time. Big brother Grant was more than willing to love on his little sister in the midst of being all boy. ;) It was an honor, once again, capturing this next stage for their family. You may remember these sweet faces above from the summer of 2010. We started capturing the Brammer family in 2008 when Julia was just a few months old. It has been so much fun watching their sweet family grow.

Well, the boys are ALL boy and have definitely kept their family on their toes. I couldn't help but laugh out of admiration as Ashley tried to get the boys to sit on their green stools. As soon as one would be seated, she would go to the next one, just in time for the first one to be up and moving again. God chooses very special people to parent multiples and I am always in awe of it all.

With that being said, I can't help but love the energy of family sessions. This is life...at these stages, and I love being able to capture it all. When Ashley saw their gallery she couldn't believe they had so many photos they loved. Of course, I didn't take this to be a negative, I just know that they had a full day workout within a matter of 90 minutes...in hopes of getting one good photo. ;) I must say that these expressions and faces change all too fast and it's worth every crazy moment to have these to cherish.

Thanks Brammer family! You know that I'm fond of all of you! Hugs to all!

And, back in 2006 (I believe;), we captured Delaney's mommy and daddy's wedding. So, here we are today capturing yet another precious milestone for the Prater family...the coming birth of their newest addition, Ashton.

We are so thankful to have so many of our clients come back to us time and time again. As I post these sessions, it is humbling to not only see how far we've come but to realize that we are able to capture so many precious moments...something we never take for granted.

Well, we had such an unseasonably warm day for their session...we were all sweating by the end-and this took place in March(!!). Anyway, it was such a treat to see how much Delaney has grown and to spend some time with Kevin and Carly. I can't wait to capture their newest addition in just a few, short months. Once again, we are honored to have one of our couples come back to us as they celebrate their first moments as a family. I love being able to capture these precious milestones that they can hold onto for years to come. So, from their wedding in 2009 to today...meet Sophia. :)

Little Sophia was as sweet as could be. She slept, ate a little, slept some more, ate a little more...she made my job incredibly easy. I enjoyed loving on her for a short time. It's hard not to have baby fever when loving on such precious babes. Enjoy these moments, Jeremy and Maggie...they go all too fast. Hugs to you both!

We have been good friends with their family for years and were elated when their mommy and daddy were having twins. The part of the story I love is that their mommy and daddy had tried one last time for a girl (they already have a house filled with boys...3 to be exact, not including daddy). When they found out they were having twins...of course, they were excited, yet extremely(!) surprised!! When they went in for their ultrasound they were told they were having twin boys. Well, after going in for a second ultrasound they had quite the surprise (in case twins weren't enough ;) when they found out they were having a boy AND a girl. The first ultrasound was wrong. So, after 4 boys...they got their girl. This is one happy family!!!!

Thanks for letting me capture this time for you guys. They are precious beyond measure. Seeing twins interact is absolutely incredible. God is good. Much love to all of you!

I love the photo above with their onesies on that say: 'Buy One, Get One Free.' Sweet, Presleigh was the last one out, so I guess you could say the saying is very true for them. Love it!

These next 3 girls hold a very special place in my heart. You can read more about their stories from their summer sessions. They decided to do 2 seasons (summer and fall) for their senior sessions...glad they did. I have a lot of favorites from both. :)

First up is Lindsey. She's rotten, fun and beautiful. :) Glad we've snatched her to help with our kiddos from time to time. They love her to pieces! She will be heading off to Ball State in the fall.

And, then there's Sarah. She's sweet, fun and beautiful. She, too, is a hit among our kiddos and is quite the athlete...just broke a record at the state swim meet this past weekend! She is deciding between 2 schools for next fall. I am slightly biased to one of her choices (ahem...IWU), but know that God will place her right where she needs to be.

And, last but definitely not least, there is Kristina. She is fun, beautiful and quite the athlete. It has been a delight watching her follow my running path (to some degree ;). Her session was focused around her sporting career at PHHS. You can read more about her story above. We are so thankful for her and all that her family means to us. She will be off to Purdue in the fall.

The 3 of these girls' names come up quite often in our house. Our kids are blessed with some very special teens/families who love them like they're own, and for that, we are so very thankful! We are sad they won't be close by in the fall, but know they will be close in our hearts. :) Love you girls!

I've been delaying writing this post for quite some time, and it's not because I didn't want to. However, I'm pretty sure that whatever I write will not do this story justice. All I can say is that God always has the better plan. We may think we know what we want, or even, what we need. Yet, when his plan is being revealed we realize that God is far greater than we can comprehend on this earth. I'm not writing this to say that we don't experience grieving, frustration, or other emotions when our plans fall through. Yet, God can work through those emotions to give us the greatest joy in the end.

I sit here with tears of joy for Nate and Amanda. We have been blessed by their friendship and have gone through the ups and downs of this journey with them. Seeing God work in and through their lives over the past number of years (especially the last few months :) has been incredible. I'm honored to not only have their friendship, but to have been able to walk alongside them. We love you guys so very much.

I realize there is a difference between having your own biological child versus adopting a child. And, it's not that one is greater over another...they are both sweet and perfect in their own way. The love for both, biological and adopted, is deep and real. Regardless of the kind of gift, the same is still true, being a parent and raising a child is God's greatest gift. The focus of their session was Amanda and Ruben and the 3 of them together. They had some quality time in Utah and were able to capture loads of sweet photos of those first few weeks. These moments were captured to remember their time at home...

It sure is fun to go back and look through some of our previous weddings. I will never forget the beautiful fall day Adam and Jaleigh had for their wedding day in southern Indiana. Lots of memories were made that day and now they are celebrating their first year as parents...he is such a cutie!! It was sooo good to see them again and capture, yet, another milestone in their lives. I am very hopeful that I will get to see them again later this year... ;) Many hugs to the 3 of you!!
