Thank you for stopping by!
Lifestyle, our passion...that is how we describe what we do.  It's the day to day, remember when, wish I could have been there type of moments.  It's real life captured forever...not only in a photograph, but in your hearts, your minds, your souls.  We truly are thankful for this role God has blessed us with.  We look forward to sharing these moments, along with our journey, in this crazy place called life.

Abby and Ben have been looking forward to their wedding day for several years now.  Between finishing up school and preparing for their future together, their day was finally here.  To say that we've enjoyed getting to know these two over the past couple of years would be an understatement.  We've loved them from the very beginning.  They are as sweet and genuine as they come.

As for their wedding day, it was perfect.  They had an amazing team of vendors, weather that didn't hold true to the forecast (thankfully:), and an awesome wedding party/family to join them for the celebration.  We loved being a part of it all!!

Our couples come from all over the Indianapolis area, and beyond, so the chances of us running into them on the streets is somewhat slim.  As for Abby and Ben, I ran into them all over Hamilton County (restaurants, the mall, parks, you name it! ;)!  It has been a true joy to be a part of it all...even running into them in our every day.  Thank you for choosing us to document your wedding!  It was perfect in every way!  Much love and hugs to you both!!

As I said before, this day was a long time coming.  Abby incorporated some fun ideas to surprise Ben.  They took a photo of the girls holding the signs and sent it to Ben. :)

Mr. & Mrs.!!!!

Life is about to get super busy, so I thought I would take a quick minute and reflect back to 2012.  We were blessed to work with so many amazing couples last year.  We have such fond memories of every day that was captured.

A huge thank you to each and every one of you for choosing us to be a part of a day that will always be remembered.  Its been said that you forget many of the days you experience in this life, but a wedding day will always be remembered.  Love that.  You all are the best!  Many hugs and love to all of you!

In no particular order...

Looking forward to our awesome couples in 2013!!  Much to come!!

We had such a wonderful day celebrating Zoe and Ryan!  They are truly one of the sweetest couples out there and we were honored to be a part of such an amazing day.  Besides the unseasonably cooler temps, their day couldn't have gone better.  Everyone shared many smiles, warm hugs, and lots of cheers to such a beautiful couple.  Thanks again for choosing us...hugs to you both!

Zoe did all of the stenciling for the bags she got for herself and her bridesmaids.  So impressive!

Loved their expressions for their first look!  And, Zoe looked absolutely stunning.

Zoe and Ryan had such a beautiful, fall day for their wedding at the Eiteljorg Museum.  Indianapolis truly has some beautiful venues!

Zoe spent a lot of time working with her dad on this beautiful car.  It only seemed fitting to grab a few photos with it on her wedding day. :)

They had some pretty amazing family and friends to celebrate with them.

They asked Ryan's sister to marry them.  She did such an amazing job!

The south is known for their bridal sessions, and since Zoe went to medical school in North Carolina it only seemed fitting.  Bridal sessions are where a future bride puts on her wedding gown to have a professional portrait taken prior to the wedding.  This tradition has happened for many years...especially, in the south.  Most brides use their trial hair/make-up run as their bridal session day.  This allows them to get a preview of how they will look before their wedding.  The photos tend to be displayed throughout the reception.  And, I must admit, seeing Zoe's photos displayed the evening of her wedding was a beautiful touch.  We've only done 2 in 13 years...including Zoe. ;)  It isn't quite as popular here in the Midwest.  However, I truly enjoyed my time with Zoe on a lovely September evening.  She made quite the stunning bride and has been such a joy to work with.  Many more photos to come of her (& Ryan's) day soon...

October 22, 2012

I think one of the hardest things about blogging is trying to think of the right words to share...especially when it happens to be your niece's wedding day. ;)  Honestly, there is too much to say in regards to my feelings about these photos.  I have a lifetime of memories with my niece and to sum them up into a quick post is not possible, so I won't even try.

However, I will say that watching Megan and Ray's relationship grow over the years has been such a blessing.  We weren't sure this day would ever come-ha! ;)  Honestly, we all knew it would happen when the timing was right.  And, it was right. We couldn't be happier for them and know that they are beautifully perfect together.

Megan and Ray had such an amazing day and the raw emotion that was shared was evidence of how much they love each other.  There were tears and lots of laughter, hugs and plenty of joy.  And, that was all that was needed.  It was an honor to be the ones who got to capture your day for you.  Love you both!

Megan...you looked gorgeous.  You are such a beautiful girl, inside and out.  And, Kobi, couldn't have looked cuter that day!

I realize that I am completely ruining the shot below.  However, there is a reason for sharing it.  When Megan was little she was my little side-kick.  I would dress her up, play with her, she would go for rides with me, I did lots of baby-sitting...the list goes on and on.  When I moved to Indiana, we had to be more intentional about seeing each other which included spending days with us during the summer, holidays, and breaks.  I realize that I wasn't always there for her in physical form, but I've been cheering her on and praying for her from the very beginning.  Getting to capture so many precious moments in her life made this photo very meaningful to me.  I realize that I haven't always been involved because of the distance that separates us, but I've always been there--from the outside looking in--believing in the beautiful woman that I have seen her become over the years.  I've been so lucky to be her aunt and love that we have shared countless memories over the years.  Meg...I love you to pieces and have nothing but joy as I watch your dreams come true.

Thanks for sharing your life & family memories.
