It’s that time of year again…wedding season!  It’s crazy how quickly time passes.  I remember back in the day where it felt as though time went on forever.  The older I get the faster it passes.  Why is that? 😉

Well, we started off our season with the sweetest of couples, Candice and Adrian.  They have such busy schedules (both doctors, Candice is finishing up her residency), so it was fun watching them let go of their normal lives and truly enjoy their day.

Sure, it was chilly, but spring in Indiana is always SO unpredictable.  Yesterday, we saw sunny skies and 70’s (even though the prediction was rain) and today we have rain and 40’s…always makes life interesting, always makes the life of a photographer very interesting. I always say that we are part meteorologists. 😉

Anyway, we were blessed to be able to document their day for them.  Everyone we met that day made us feel so welcome.  Great way to start off our year…

Candice looked absolutely stunning…just look for yourself.  And, the wedding party knew how to have a good time. 🙂

Candice and Adrian were married in the church that both Candice’s parents and grandparents were married in.  She even sported her mom’s veil…beautiful!  On top of that, Candice grew up making origami airplanes.  So, they had their guests make their own airplane to send them off.  I love how they personalized their wedding…such a nice touch.

There is always one…this one happened to be Candice’s brother. We’ve seen him at weddings before…he’s quite the entertainer. 😉

A passerby was cheering on the wedding party.  So, Megan gave them a shout-out back…hugs to you, Megan-couldn’t resist!  Ha! 😉

Candice and Adrian had their reception at the new venue, D’Amore.  It is such a beautiful location that overlooks downtown Indianapolis.  You have views of all over…can’t wait to shoot there again.

There was a lot of dancing action at their reception, but as I was choosing images for this post I couldn’t help but be drawn to the photos of Candice and Adrian.  You see, I’m kind of a sucker for sweet love.  I am drawn to seeing people interact with one another…not afraid to share their hearts with those around them.  I’ve seen that kind of love modeled from my grandparents, our parents, and many others.  I hope that one day Jeremy and I will be able to say that we loved each other like we did on our wedding day…inwardly, we will far exceed the wedding day, but I hope that we never lose the puppy dog love that we all experience on the day of our own wedding.  These moments captured are reminders of what we have…when we just open our eyes.
