I really enjoy seeing families with older children get their photos taken. I know how busy our schedules are now and our kids aren’t even of age to be involved in many things. I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like in a few years. I am so glad that the McMullen family took time out of their busy schedules to get these photos taken. Evan, the oldest, is off to The Citadel and Graham will be starting his junior year of high school. Their mom knew that now was the time to capture these memories before they fully became empty nesters. I know these pictures will be cherished by them for many years to come.
As for the McMullen family…well, they have a special place in my heart. I taught Evan’s 4th grade class and have kept in touch with them over the years. I had the opportunity to take his senior pictures last fall and am thankful to have had, yet, another opportunity to capture them. I’m always amazed at how God places people in our lives and am even more amazed when I see the impact they have made over the years. The McMullen family has done this for me…thankful to call them friends. Much love to the 4 of you!
PS…I realize the golden rod came and went a while back. I’m a bit delayed with my portrait blog postings….will. catch. up. soon. 😉
