From the very first email encounter with Katie, I knew that we were going to hit it off. Throughout the planning/designing of their save the dates, we connected even more. And, then we had their engagement session, final consult, and of course, their wedding. I’m guessing we’ll get to see them again, non-photography related (at least-not for a good while ;), at some point soon.
It has been an honor working with you both over the past year. Thank you for choosing us to be your photographers…we loved every minute of it! Hugs to you both!
The location below does not need an introduction, by any means. Avid sports fans (and, those who live in Indiana 🙂 know that this is the home of the Indianapolis Colts. Since Katie and Liam were having their reception at Lucas Oil Stadium, we were given permission to take photos on the field, which turned out to be a huge blessing considering how hot it was that day. Katie and Liam didn’t mind because, not only did it shield them from the sun, but they happen to be big Colts fans, as well. We heard things such as, “Jeff Saturday handed off to Peyton Manning right here!” And, “Manning threw the ball for a touchdown right here!” For those of us who have cheered the Colts on over the years, I must say that we were enjoying hanging out on their turf. 😉
I loved all of the careful thought that was put into Katie and Liam’s day. From the amazing detail by Detail + Design, to the ideas implemented by Katie and Liam. I have to say that their wedding party entrance was awesome in every sense of the word. Katie is from the USofA and Liam is from Canada. They had a good mix of both countries represented on their wedding party. Since they were celebrating at Lucas Oil, they knew that a team entrance was a must. Flags were flying, lots of cheering…incredible.Katie and Liam were surrounded by friends and family from near and far to celebrate their wedding day. It has been evident from the beginning how much they care and love one another, and the people that surround them. They wanted to give their friends and family a day to remember, and I think they did just that.
What awesome pictures. You both look so incredibly happy!!! LOVE YOU GUYS and hope you have a long and happy marriage!!
