I think one of the hardest things about blogging is trying to think of the right words to share…especially when it happens to be your niece’s wedding day. 😉 Honestly, there is too much to say in regards to my feelings about these photos. I have a lifetime of memories with my niece and to sum them up into a quick post is not possible, so I won’t even try.
However, I will say that watching Megan and Ray’s relationship grow over the years has been such a blessing. We weren’t sure this day would ever come-ha! 😉 Honestly, we all knew it would happen when the timing was right. And, it was right. We couldn’t be happier for them and know that they are beautifully perfect together.
Megan and Ray had such an amazing day and the raw emotion that was shared was evidence of how much they love each other. There were tears and lots of laughter, hugs and plenty of joy. And, that was all that was needed. It was an honor to be the ones who got to capture your day for you. Love you both!
Megan…you looked gorgeous. You are such a beautiful girl, inside and out. And, Kobi, couldn’t have looked cuter that day!
I realize that I am completely ruining the shot below. However, there is a reason for sharing it. When Megan was little she was my little side-kick. I would dress her up, play with her, she would go for rides with me, I did lots of baby-sitting…the list goes on and on. When I moved to Indiana, we had to be more intentional about seeing each other which included spending days with us during the summer, holidays, and breaks. I realize that I wasn’t always there for her in physical form, but I’ve been cheering her on and praying for her from the very beginning. Getting to capture so many precious moments in her life made this photo very meaningful to me. I realize that I haven’t always been involved because of the distance that separates us, but I’ve always been there–from the outside looking in–believing in the beautiful woman that I have seen her become over the years. I’ve been so lucky to be her aunt and love that we have shared countless memories over the years. Meg…I love you to pieces and have nothing but joy as I watch your dreams come true.
Beautiful as usual…however, it is soooo much better when you know who some of them are:) LOL I can’t get the picture of Megan in her Red Dress standing in your living room as Little Apple Festival Queen out of my head She has grown into a gorgeous, young woman.
Very Very Awesome pictures! Watching you grow up Megan into such a beautiful lady, mother, & wife has been amazing. All I can say to Ray is your a very fortunate man to have someone as special as Megan in your life. You’d better take Good care of her or you’ll have me & your Mom to answer to. LOL !
