The south is known for their bridal sessions, and since Zoe went to medical school in North Carolina it only seemed fitting. Bridal sessions are where a future bride puts on her wedding gown to have a professional portrait taken prior to the wedding. This tradition has happened for many years…especially, in the south. Most brides use their trial hair/make-up run as their bridal session day. This allows them to get a preview of how they will look before their wedding. The photos tend to be displayed throughout the reception. And, I must admit, seeing Zoe’s photos displayed the evening of her wedding was a beautiful touch. We’ve only done 2 in 13 years…including Zoe. 😉 It isn’t quite as popular here in the Midwest. However, I truly enjoyed my time with Zoe on a lovely September evening. She made quite the stunning bride and has been such a joy to work with. Many more photos to come of her (& Ryan’s) day soon…
Every bit of the southern in me LOVES this. The gals in the south are missing a great photographer! Beautiful work Mel! Beautiful bride too.
