Dawn & Jeremy

In our (almost) 14 years of shooting weddings, I have now come to a place where very little surprises me. I don’t mean that in a bad way at all!! We’ve just experienced many different situations that we had to learn how to work through. With that being said, even with the disappointment of rain on Dawn and Jeremy’s wedding day, I realized that making the most of a situation is always worth it in the end. We didn’t get to do everything they had planned…the balloon release, photos on the circle, etc. Yet, after revisiting their day through these images I find nothing but love and beauty throughout. So many times we get caught up in the moment of expectation and find out that we wouldn’t want to relive the day any other way.

We loved our time spent with Dawn and Jeremy! They are such a beautiful couple (Claire and I referred to her as a Barbie Bride 😉 and it was such an honor to be a part of their day. Thank you for choosing us to be the ones to capture it all…truly beautiful.

You both looked amazing!!

I had such a hard time narrowing down the photos of the two of them. I am SO thankful we got their photos in before the rain started!

The little people in their wedding were quite adorable!

I love how they incorporated their parents into their ceremony. Such sweet moments between the 6 of them…

They had plans for a beautiful balloon release, but because of the rain they had to forego that plan. So, they decided to let a bunch of them go as they were leaving. Let’s just say the balloons weren’t a fan of the rain either…they had a hard time taking off. 😉

I fall in love with every night photo we take downtown on Monument Circle. These photos definitely show the bonus side to having rain on your wedding day…the streets are glowing with color. Love these!
