First of all, we have had an amazing winter here in the Midwest. I would take cold winters every year if it meant we would have lots of sunshine and plenty of snow to enjoy. Dreary winters can be rough across the board, so I’m thankful that it has been worth the beautiful views and extra doses of Vitamin D. 🙂
As for Rachel and Dave…they wanted snowy photos, and all I can say is that I did the best I could, ha! 😉 Meaning, we had ‘blizzard like’ conditions for their session. I can’t remember what storm this was, but I do remember that the snow wasn’t supposed to start until later in the afternoon. However, it made itself known several hours earlier which happened to be during their session. We decided to make the most of it, and I am SO glad we did. Between the barn, hill, and field of fir trees…I felt like we were in the state of Washington (where so much of my family lives) if only for a bit. We would grab some photos, head to the car to warm up, and repeat. Thankfully, we had some breaks here and there with the snow so that they could actually see me. 😉 I have many, many favorites from their session and absolutely loved getting to know these two better…they are pretty awesome. I could’ve hung out with them for hours and hours. They have a beautiful day planned in August and we can’t wait to celebrate with them. Much love and hugs to you both!
